the slovene original has a bit of onomatopoeia [-č--č], suggesting a slight wind through the trees. not quite a direct translation as with most of my other haiku. the original does not have cherry petals but cherry blossoms.
You really get a feeling of awe from this poem and even though cherry trees are a bit of a clichéd image it doesn't feel trite in this context. Great work. The only thing I'd change is to combine the last two lines, the linebreak just seems too abrupt to me.
